Devereux Glenholme provides educational and mental health professionals with training and consultations to help children. The goal is to create opportunities for all children to experience the consistent, positive guidance, and nurturing which leads to social, emotional, moral and intellectual development.
Devereux Glenholme Social Work Series
Peer to peer learning is a hallmark of professional development activities at The Glenholme School. Session facilitators capitalize on the strengths and knowledge of the participants. Social workers, after-school coordinators and guidance counselors, are encouraged to attend. This series focuses on a variety of clinical topics and skills to assist those who work with children with behavioral disorders. Designed for those who wish to help children learn and maintain prosocial skills and behaviors, the series is provided without charge by the outreach program at Devereux Glenholme. Approved by the National Association of Social Workers for 2 continuing education contact hours. Earn 2 CEUs for each session from the National Association of Social Workers and/or the CT State Department of Education. Provider number 886383524.
