Glenholme's Got Talent

The highly popular annual talent show is the place where staff and students together to showcase their skills to an audience. Singers, jugglers, dancers and actors stepped on stage in an unprecedented event in The Center for the Arts on Tuesday, April 12. The show was simply sensational with fifteen spectacular performances.

The ensemble staff performance of "The Leader of the Pack" featuring Ms. Stevens, Ms. Clarke, Ms. Therault and Mr. Kepics had the crowd laughing.

The Juggling Extravaganza awed the audience with the dexterity of Ben K, Amy R, Mike F, Jakhai S, Daniel L and Ms. Silver.

The most notable performance of the afternoon was Ms. Perssonatti's delivery of "I Will Always Love You" which earned not only a standing ovation but produced a few tears as well.

Mike F teamed up with Ms. Silver, Mr. DeLong and Mr. Toy for the sensational performance of the "The Book Report," from the musical You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. The delightfully silly segment had the audience captivated and smiling.

Duet performances included several staff-student combinations. Matt M and Mr. DeLong sang "Any Dream Will Do." Jake S and Ms. Kisielewski sang "God Bless The Broken Road." Ashlyn H and Ms. Stevens sang "I Know Him So Well." Austin V was accompanied by Mr. Toy for "Where is Love." Hannah D and Ms. Treppeda sang "Not While I’m Around." Jake S and Ms. Perssonatti sang "For Good."

The zany dance performance of "Tell Me When To Go" included Mr. Kepics, Ms. Gilbert along with students Jack L, David A and Brandon R had the audience smiling and laughing.

Additional solo performances included Ms. Roraback, who hit the high notes of "Cabaret," and Ms. Bennison who performed the poem "Litany."

Two musical ensembles rounded out the excitement. Ben K and Aaron I, joined Ms. Silver, to perform one of her original songs; and Rose L, who was accompanied by Ms. Steven (vocals) and Mr. Toy (piano), delivered a soulful guitar performance of "Georgia."

With another sensational talent show concluded, the staff and students are already starting to plan ahead, prepare, and practice their performance for next year's talent showcase.
