Students assist at Special Olympics event

On Sunday, February 28, six Glenholme students spent their day assisting at the 2010 Winter Games in Simsbury, Conn.

Allafia B, Diego M, Jake T, Harrison T, Andrew P, and Will S volunteered as athlete escorts for the various sporting events, including cross country skiing, snowshoeing, speed and figure skating. Along with their volunteer responsibilities, the boys demonstrated tremendous enthusiasm for the athletes with exceptional support and encouragement. Their efforts earned them numerous commendations from SOCT committee members and supporters.
