"Head of School for a Day" takes the helm
Glenholme experienced a special day when Jordan T stepped into the role of "Head of School for a Day" on Monday April 26.
From the morning assembly to the evening activities, the Head of School sets the rules for the day and often award staff and students with the option of relaxed attire, design the Head of School Meal Plan Special, assign responsibilities and arrange after school activities. This job is certainly not for the faint-at-heart, as it requires as a sense of humor, a touch of seriousness, and lots of energy.
Jordan addressed the student body and faculty at the morning assembly and set the expectations for the day. He quickly won over his audience with his executive orders which included "hats, sneakers, and polo shirts permitted" for students and "tie-optional" for faculty. His plans for students included Go Karts for all P.E. classes, classroom specials and an after school basketball game.
As Head of School, Jordan efficiently tended to his hectic schedule of student and staff meetings via the executive golf cart. Despite all the work required for his official day, Jordan still found time to enjoy lunch with several members of the student body.
Each year, students and staff look forward to the special day when the coveted auction item, Head of School for a Day takes the helm from the administration. It was spectacular day for the entire campus under the direction of Head of School Jordan and the Glenholme community is excited to see who their next Head of School will be.
