History bellows through the halls of Glenholme

On Thursday, March 26, Glenholme students and faculty were captivated by Sounds of Afrika, an Afrikan Drum and Dance Troupe, with a history lesson that bellowed through the halls of their schoolhouse.

In an eclectic fashion, the troupe delivered details of the slave trade, ancestry and the importance of the storyteller art form by binding their message with the emotions of drumming and the visual images of motion and dance.
