Admissions and Marketing Directors to resume international travel
Glenholme Marketing Director David Tuttle will attend an exhibit at the Montreal Learning Disabilities Conference from April 2-5, 2008. Tuttle has been visiting our northern neighbor more this year and plans to continue doing so in the 08/09 year, with several planned events in both Toronto and Montreal. Please contact Tuttle at ext. 217 if you would like to meet while he is in your area to discuss the many outstanding academic opportunities and programs offered at Glenholme.
On April 17, 2008, Tuttle will travel to Doha, Qatar by invitation from Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Bin Abdullah Al-Missned to attend the Shafallah Centers third annual world forum on special needs, chaired by Hassan Ali Bin Ali and co-chaired by Cherie Blair. This year's forum will discuss and demonstrate how sport, recreation and cultural activities promote global unity, social inclusion, acceptance, skill acquisition, and friendships, and how it all influences learning. With Glenholme's extensive background and studies specific to creative engagement of students in recreational activities and events, Glenholme has been honored with this very special invitation to be one of 250 world delegates to participate in this exciting world event.
In addition, Kathi Fitzherbert, Director of Admissions, will present at the Bermuda Schools To Know Special Needs Seminar and Fair for Island professionals on April 23, 2008 at the BUEI. Fitzherbert will be available to meet with individual parents during the day on Tuesday, April 22 or evening appointments can be arranged for Wednesday, April 23.
