Author/illustrator Billy Steers entertains students

On Friday, November 21, Billy Steers, author and illustrator of the "Tractor Mac" series of children's books, gave a very entertaining presentation to the students.

Steers explained the process of writing, illustrating and producing children's books, performed various drawing demonstrations, answered questions, and autographed books and memorabilia for staff and students. Billy lived up to his nickname as "Quick Draw" as he met the challenges set upon him by students and the limitations of a stopwatch. It was an interesting, informative and delightful presentation.
