The Yale Spizzwinks(?) perform
The Yale Spizzwinks(?) -- yes the question mark is part of the name -- performed for the Glenholme community on Thursday, October 25.
The Glenholme dining hall was packed. The singing was great and the guys were very funny. The performance was enjoyed by students and staff alike.
The Yale Spizzwinks(?) are the oldest underclassman a cappella group in the U.S. Since 1914, they've entertained audiences around the world with their unique blend of sweet harmony and tongue-in-cheek humor. The group's name is a reference to a mythical creature to which the Corn Blight of 1906 had been whimsically attributed. The editor of the Yale Banner was unsure of the spelling of the fledgling group and added a question mark in parentheses |
