Forbes Flyers Jump Rope Team Performs

On Tuesday, August 21, the Glenholme gym was alive with the sound of jumping feet when the Forbes Flyers jump rope team of Torrington, Conn. visited to wow students with their amazing abilities.

The team performed numerous tricks that showcased their acrobatic jumping talent. In addition, the team answered questions, gave a lesson in jump rope techniques and invited Glenholme students to try some jump rope tricks with single, double and multiple ropes. Even a few hardy Glenholme staff members gave it a try.

The Forbes Flyers are comprised of high school students, all of whom have been part of the team since elementary school. They practice every day of the week except Fridays and have won many awards at several national championships.
