Section Five Holds Food Drive
People tend to be very generous during the holiday season, but places such as food banks still need help once the holidays are over. As part of the Glenholme School's responsive classroom community service project, Section Five is holding a food drive for a food bank in New Milford.
Items the students are looking for include: peanut butter and jelly, pasta, canned goods including pasta sauce, soups and stews, tuna, chicken, and fruit, as well as cereal, crackers, cookies, school snacks (apple sauce cups, fruit rollups, chips in a bag, juice packs), condiments (ketchup, mayo, mustard, salad dressing, relish), paper goods (paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, garbage bags, sandwich bags, storage bags, tissues, aluminum foil) and cleaning products (dish soap, laundry soap, bleach). |
