Students Raise Money for Local Charities

Students in Ms. Chave and Ms. Blazys' responsive classroom worked hard this year making holiday corsages for community service. Students sold the corsages for three dollars each to staff and parents with the proceeds going to MEOW of Litchfield and the Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen in New Milford.

The group raised $130 for each organization, and in addition to the money, the students will also send along a heartfelt letter and pictures documenting their experience.
