Town Meeting is Back and Better Than Ever

The Glenholme School held its first “Town Meeting” of the school year on Tuesday, November 16th. This afternoon community gathering recognized students for their hard work and dedication to particular projects since the start of the new school year. Special points of interest showcased student community service projects, responsive classroom achievements, artwork, poetry, technology projects and extracurricular activities.

Highlights include Ms. Haller’s classes’ “Earth Dance”, a monologue by Anna R., Section 2’s group presentation on the lunar eclipse, and Mr. Garcia’s class enactment of their favorite Spanish story. Ben, a current Town Meeting Committee Member, explains, “We do town meeting because we would like to emphasize that Glenholme is not just a school, it is a community. Town Meeting is such a positive environment and is a place where we can watch all our talented classmates be proud of what they have done or achieved.”

This unrehearsed student directed meeting drew staff and students together to celebrate the creativity and individuality that fosters a strong community.
