2004 Holiday Concert
An assortment of holiday harmonies delighted a standing room
only crowd at The Glenholme School's celebration concert featuring
the voices of the Kidz Bop Shop Chorus, the Boy's Barbershop,
Girl's BarberaShoppe, and Glenholme Glee Club. The audience
was totally wowed by the show.

Standing before a blue background festooned with beautiful white
snowflakes, each group was well practiced and prepared for delivery
of a program that left one longing for more. Fortunately for all,
free DVDs of the performance have been made available for any
family that wishes to receive one.
The Kidz Bop Shop Chorus were first to grab our ears and charm
us with the pretty, soft voices of the little girls contrasting
sweetly with the high-low voices of the lads. Highlights of their
performance include the English carol, "Twelve Days of Christmas,"
- complete with the resounding five gold rings - and the
round, "Lot of Latkes," superbly done with contrasting
tunes.
Older boys entertained next, dashing in their crisp tuxedo shirts
and red bow ties and cummerbunds. With an accomplished classmate
on piano, their deeper voices crooned "Silver Bells."
For the next act, the snowflake backdrop was removed to reveal
a screen. The Technology department offered a super slideshow
of students enjoying all sorts of campus activities while two
young ladies provided sweet harmony to the tune of "Let There
Be Peace on Earth."
The six members of the BarberaShoppe provided a beautiful combination
of voices, especially evident in "Dona Nobis Pacem."
The Glee Club, looking fabulous in those tuxedo shirts accented
with red bow ties and waists, got toes tapping in the audience
with a fun "Boogie Woogie Holiday." Doing one better,
the next song featured a talented Meghan performing her own tap
dance! Solos by Lauren, Ben, Heather and Anna were presented with
an amazing sense of calm and confidence.
Enormous talent was showcased in the holiday concert, and accolades to all performers! Kudos to the fine Music teachers of Glenholme. They have done a great service to the children, their families and to the school in their dedication to and belief of the immense power of expression through the arts.
