... Devereux Glenholme in Washington,
CT has recently presented awards to
outstanding staff for their achievements
in the past quarter. Donna Ward of
Warren received a "Certificate
of Special Recognition."
The award is intended for third shift
employees who had distinguished themselves
in the eyes of their co-workers and
supervisors.
Ms. Ward has been with Glenholme for
three years and has been a real asset
to the program, according to Timothy
M. Plyler and Jennifer Clark, Supervisors.
She has a nurturing disposition that
makes the GLC kids (Glenholme's 5
through 9 year-old) feel secure when
she works with them.
Ms.Ward is also more than willing
to help her fellow co-workers whenever
possible. She was key in efforts to
decorate the cottages and worked in
collaboration with other staff members
to coordinate ideas and materials.
"Donna Ward has shown that has
the true 'Glenholme Spirit' and we
look forward to her working with us
for many years to come," Mr.
Plyler and Ms. Clark wrote in their
nomination letter.
