Ways To Give
Leave a Legacy for Glenholme
Including a charitable bequest in your will is a simple way to make a lasting gift to Glenholme. For over 50 years, students at Glenholme have benefitted from the generosity of those who knew the importance of a quality education.
Today, Glenholme educates more than 100 students a year, many of whom cannot afford the cost of tuition without the support of families, faculty and friends of Glenholme. In fact, some of largest support comes in the form of charitable bequests. A bequest, a gift through a will or other state planning means, affords the donor both the flexibility and ability to benefit future generations of Glenholme students.
Our Development office is available to work with you and your advisers to provide suggested language for bequests and to help craft a legacy that satisfies both your philanthropic and estate planning goals.
For more information, please contact Courtney Hoefer-Delaney, Director of Development at (860) 868-7377 ext. 221 or email@example.com.
Thank you for your continuing support of The Glenholme School
Glenholme Annual Fund
The Glenholme Annual Fund offsets expenses not covered by tuition or endowment income. Gifts to the Annual fund support current educational programs, research and creation of new programs, faculty development, and maintenance of facilities. Funds raised are allocated to the most critical needs throughout the year and thus, an immediate benefit to Glenholme and its students.
Gifts to the Capital Giving fund finance the major needs of the organization including the construction and renovation of the buildings and grounds, and are vital to ensuring that the school will continue to fulfill its mission.
The Alfred W. Van Sinderen Endowment Fund was established in 1999 to provide long term financial stability and continuity to The Glenholme School. This permanent capital fund provides planned financial resources year to year and ensures the future of Glenholme.
The Scholarship Fund is a vital component of the school’s ability to offer treatment and care to young people with learning differences who are unable to access programs that will improve their future in order to lead healthy and productive lives.
Take Your Seat…Leave a Legacy
The Center for the Arts is truly a grand space on the Glenholme campus. You are invited to take your seat in the theater and with that, leave your legacy. With your pledge, your name, your company name or the name of someone you wish to honor will be forever engraved on a theater seat.
Planned giving is a process by which donors discuss and determine the most beneficial way to make a major gift with attractive tax advantages. A few of the many opportunities include charitable gift annuities, charitable lead trusts, naming Glenholme in your will, and gifts of real estate, collectibles and securities.

The alumni support of the school and commitment to future endeavors was extraordinary as the attendees pledged support for and encouraged the creation of the school’s Alumni Association. Philip Darling, a dedicated supporter and student of the school in the late 60’s was named honorary chairman for the association. Wrapping up the exceptional afternoon was an outside tour of the Center for the Arts along with enjoying the dress rehearsal for this summer’s theatrical production, Music Man Jr.
The connection and camaraderie between Glenholme staff and alumni remain strong as demonstrated by the participation of alumni spanning the four decades of the school’s history and the formation of the Alumni Association, which promises an exciting influx of fresh, new ideas for advancing Glenholme.
