A Winter Celebration

Winter in New England is a time for making snowmen, drinking hot chocolate, and wearing cozy flannel pajamas, and winter at The Glenholme School is no exception. On the afternoon of Thursday, January 19, the Glenholme community gathered in The Center for the Arts to celebrate the beloved winter season. With the recent lack of snow, students and staff reminisced about Storm Alfred, an unusual October snow storm that resulted in a state-wide power outage and caused Glenholme’s Halloween festivities to be delayed. After Executive Director Maryann Campbell and Executive Administrator Judy Cooper shared some of their favorite memories from Alfred’s aftermath, the audience watched a slideshow of storm-related pictures, with tons of great images of students, staff, and a snow-covered campus. After the celebration, students and staff were each given a T-shirt, designed by two talented Glenholme staff, as a small token of appreciation for their creativity and patience during Storm Alfred. The winter celebration was a wonderful community building activity, bringing Glenholme students and staff closer together.

As they say… let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
