Located just miles from the main Glenholme School’s main campus, the Glen Ridge program is designed to prepare students for success, academically, socially, and emotionally, in the next step of their higher education journey. Students invited to become a Glen Ridge resident are those who have mastered their treatment goals in a more intensive program, but who are still in need of a structured and supervised setting to pursue further education.
The primary goal of Glen Ridge is to prepare students to transition successfully to their post-secondary educational or vocational environment. In order to accomplish this, the Glen Ridge environment provides students with controlled exposure to the triggers for problematic behaviors in a setting that is similar to their next learning environment, giving them the opportunity to experience the success of self-control.
Glen Ridge is committed to providing children with positive and rewarding learning experiences in an accepting, nurturing and independent environment. Students are given opportunities for exploration and interpretation, and to apply the skills they’ve acquired, shift perspectives, empathize and self-assess.
