Our fitness center includes (3) True Treadmills, Octane Elliptical, Cybex Cross-Trainer, True Recumbent Bike, True Upright Bike, and (10) Schwinn Spinning Bikes. Our weight machines include a Chest Press, Incline Press, Shoulder Press, Lat Pulldown, Seated Row, Bicep Curl, Tricep Pressdown, Leg Press, Toe Raise, Leg Curl, Leg Extension, Incline-Flat Bench, Seated Ab and Dumbbells from 5lb - 85lbs.
We also have Dance Dance Revolution, Nintendo Wii/Wii Fit, Exercise Videos and Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect. |

Fitness Mania
Work out and play!! A variety of stations are set up which include: Dance Dance Revolution, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 Kinect or play the Xbox 360 while you walk on the treadmill.
Mr. Miller Get Fit Camp
An intense workout program that involves running drills, push ups, sit-ups, jumping exercises, abs, squats, lunges and more extreme fitness.
Circuit Training
A variety of exercise stations are set up and students exercise at a minute per station. Stations include weight stations, cardio, free weight, body weight exercises, abs, balance and core.
Indoor Cycling
Listen to a variety of energizing music on the Schwinn bikes while you climb, sprint and jump to the top of a hill.
General Fitness Students will have their own choice work out using the weight and cardiovascular equipment. |

| Brian Miller - Fitness Director |
Brian Miller was born and raised in Western Connecticut. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Health Education from Western Connecticut State University. While working on his undergraduate he worked with adolescents, senior citizens and special needs adults instructing group exercise fitness classes. He also organized book drives, campus events and Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.
Brian has been a fitness trainer since 2001 and is currently certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He has worked as a contractor for corporate fitness centers such as Mastercard International and Duracell Batteries. He taught many group exercise classes such as Indoor Cycling, Boot Camp, Awesome Abs, Stretch and many more. Brian also organized many fitness events such as a 5k run, Holiday Challenge, and Team Calorie Burn.
Brian started working at Glenholme in July 2006. He makes sure that every student learns the correct way to use the exercise machines. He stresses the importance of good form and posture. Brian offers many group fitness classes and offers smaller classes for beginners. He likes to make fitness fun and has all the latest gear for a great workout! |
