Awards: Special awards to the Top 3 Male and Female Finishers
Age Group Awards for Top 3 in the following divisions:
14 & Under/ 15-19/ 20-29/ 30-39/ 40-49/ 50-59/ 60-69/ 70 & over
Course Overview: Flat, fast 5K on a dirt road through the rugged beauty of Steep Rock Preservation, a bucolic protected preserve that is divided by the Shepaug River. Race hugs the river the entire way. Out and back course.
Race Proceeds: will support The Glenholme School’s Performing Arts Center, a program that continues to positively impact students on the Autism Spectrum.
About Glenholme: The Glenholme School is a specialized boarding school that provides a therapeutic program and exceptional learning environment to address varying levels of academic, social and emotional development in boys and girls ages 10 to 21. Directions: North on Route 202, turn right onto Route 47. If traveling south on Route 202 turn left onto Route 47. Head four miles on Route 47. At the stop sign bear left and then a quick right onto River Road. Steep Rock is 1.5 miles on the left.
From New Milford on Route 109 take a right at the stop sign. Then right onto River Road. From Route 109 heading south take left onto Route 47. Left at the stop sign in the center of Washington Depot and then right onto River Road. Heading sough on Route 47 from Woodbury, turn left onto River Road
